Being a student can be stressful, especially during exam time. Fortunately for people at MIT, they have one thing to brighten their days: The MIT Puppy Lab. That's right: As the name implies, MIT currently has a room dedicated to petting and playing with dogs on campus. The Puppy Lab comes as the result of Stephanie Ku, a graduate student in the Harvard-MIT Program for Health Sciences and Technology, having received a grant through the MindHandHeart Innovation Fund. She'll be testing her hypothesis that dogs can help MIT students de-stress with a regular campus space where they can visit with puppies. Today was the first day of the MIT Puppy Lab, and we got a peak into the space. So of course, we snagged some videos. To start off, here's one for cuteness overload: And this is a look at the room at full student capacity: Image and videos via Olivia Vanni.
